DESIGNER - ROCHESTER, NY

We are looking for innovative and motivated candidates for the position of Designer at our location in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities will include applying creative expertise and design services to support new and existing clients. You will work alongside a team of dynamic, creative workplace designers, practicing high standards for design, providing a high level of customer satisfaction, and serving as a collaborative member of a project team including sales, project management, and procurement support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Included but not limited to

  • Review Design Request with Manager and appropriate Sales Staff.
  • Meet with client to understand needs of client.
  • Measure client space to avoid installation problems in field.
  • Prepare layouts.
  • Provide Assistance to client for color/fabric etc. selections.
  • Prepare Materials board if required.
  • Provide initial Budget Specifications for client.
  • Work with client for final design layouts and secure client’s sign off.
  • Prepare final drawings and specifications.
  • Submit drawings and Specifications for final checking to Operations.
  • Submit Installation package to Operations.
  • Work with manufacturers and vendor reps to obtain education on new products and offerings, along with receiving samples and other pertinent information.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Design Degree from Accredited Design Program
Extensive Computer/AutoCAD experience, and internet use

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT- SYRACUSE, NY

We are seeking an administrative assistant to join our office in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and skilled in developing and maintaining workplace and customer relationships.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Included but not limited to

  • Client relationship management skills to maintain professional communication with customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to create budgets and quotes as well as knowledge of associated computer software
  • Quality assurance skills to maintain company quality standards of product and services
  • Time management and prioritization skills to ensure efficient functioning of schedules and office systems
  • Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations.
  • Ensures that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.
  • Help with customer inquiries and walk-ins, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing product and pricing information.

  • Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, match purchase orders to invoices, verify approvals, and manage payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send customer invoices, monitor accounts for overdue payments, follow up with clients to ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate records of transactions.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

At least two years experience in a similar role and related field
Must be excellent with Excel, Outlook, and CRM databases
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

FURNITURE INSTALLER - ITHACA, NY

We are looking for motivated and reliable candidates for the position of Furniture Installer at our location in Ithaca, NY. Responsibilities include installation and reconfiguration of furniture within a customer's facility or corporate space. You will be expected to drive to designated locations to load and unload new products from installation trucks, as well as perform site cleanup after installation. You should be comfortable building products if needed before delivery, as well as using general tools to assemble products.


 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Included but not limited to
 

  • Read prints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, and material, tool, and work aid requirements.
  • Responsible for timely completion of the work with a high level of workmanship and a high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Secure metal framing to walls.
  • Fit, align, and hang panels, work surfaces, etc.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and have experience using tools.

WAREHOUSE SUPPORT - ITHACA, NY

We are looking for skilled Warehouse Support to manage warehouse inventory and database. You will be responsible for receiving all freight from manufacturers. Report all damages to order entry for freight claims. Assure that we have received everything as ordered. Arrange delivery of product to clients. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse at all times.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Included but not limited to

  • Meet manufacturer's trucks and assist in unloading of merchandise
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook
  • Work with computer programs for receiving & inventory control
  • Inspect incoming product & report any damage using correct form
  • Review received merchandise and verify accuracy with orders
  • Receive product in computer system within a timely manner and print all tickets associated with order.
  • Verify that project is complete and ready to be delivered/installed in its entirety (unless prior arrangements have been agreed to with salesperson)
  • Arrange all deliveries with client, utilizing installation schedules from Sales for benchmarks.
  • Responsible for scheduling safe, efficient deliveries/installs so that they can be completed in a timely manner.
  • Pull, inspect, load products with delivery personnel for delivery.
  • Keep vehicles in excellent running order. Make sure inspections are done.
  • Keep material handling equipment in good working order
  • Maintain clean, efficient warehouse at all times.
