From a humble beginning to the thriving community we are today, Sedgwick Business Interiors continues to grow and prosper providing value to our customers through an uncompromising commitment to the quality of service and products. We focus on conducting our business in a friendly professional and fair manner. We respect the dignity and value of the customer and excel in fulfilling the promise.


With his experience and expertise in the commercial furniture market, Doug Sedgwick, Founder, and Owner establish our first showroom and warehouse in Rochester, NY in 1997. Hitting the ground running, the newly formed Sedgwick Business Interiors gained the confidence of manufacturing mogul, Herman Miller, and became an official, certified dealer.

In 2003, Sedgwick Business Interiors expanded into the Syracuse market with the opening of our second location. With much momentum and passion, Sedgwick opened our third showroom and warehouse in Ithaca, NY the following year. As each department grew in talent and experience, Sedgwick was able to expand once again. The Corning, NY showroom was established to in 2016 rounding out the number of our locations to four!

As of today, Sedgwick Business Interiors has grown into a family of over 80 members with over 20 years of experience. Our family is comprised of the complete spectrum of talented people to provide our customers with the best experience possible. From our experienced sales staff, knowledgeable customer service team, certified designers, and dedicated technicians, we understand what it takes to get the job done right. And because of our deep-rooted history and treasured partnerships we are confident our family will continue to prosper and provide successful solutions for many years to come!

Sedgwick honors achievements during unprecedented times

Our team members are exceptional here at Sedgwick, and today we are very proud to highlight our Logistics Coordinator, Josh Snyder. While working full time at Sedgwick, Josh has been diligently committed to fulfilling a dream to achieve his MBA from the Simon School of Business at The University of Rochester.We are thrilled to announce that Josh graduated with his MBA in May! Although he did not have the opportunity for a traditional graduation ceremony he donned his cap and gown around his home to celebrate this amazing accomplishment. We know that Josh, along with all 'graduating' students of 2020 across the country experienced an unprecedented feat among COVID-19 pandemic stress and forced quarantine!We honor and congratulate Josh and all 2020 graduates! We encourage you to keep chasing your dreams and aspirations!
